Chic, young and modern was the brief for this accounting office. We retained the building's characteristic elements in this former bank location, infusing it with modern elements to bring it firmly into the present.
Studio Boud fully renovated and furnished this office for the firm Bockstael Accounting in the centre of Aalst, Belgium. The brief was to create a modern and youthful office environment — the office is close to a university with an Accountancy programme, and a modern office helps attract new talent.
The interior seamlessly aligns with the firm's renewed brand identity, moulded into one cohesive concept. We used contrast, warm tones, a concrete-look wall and industrial glass partition for a bold feel. The contrast between the concrete-look wall and the brass-finished logo, together with the ring lamps, creates a chic atmosphere.
Less than a year later, we delivered additional furniture for new staff — mission accomplished.
