In addition to the interior design, Studio Boud delivered the complete interior finishing for a penthouse in a unique location. The entire apartment is designed in a Japandi style with a modern twist, emphasizing peace, space, and natural materials and colours.
In this penthouse, we handled the complete interior finishing after shell construction. Together with the client, we mapped out their wishes and chose a modern Japandi and Minimal style. This style is characterized by a calming appearance with light colours and natural textures — earthy tones and wood throughout. Cotton and wool are used extensively in the upholstery and carpets.
Black accents and the use of smoked and ribbed glass give a modern and luxurious feel. The kitchen bar is covered with soft suede and has a Dekton countertop in a rough cream colour, fully equipped with modern amenities. Custom-made elements throughout the entire apartment create a sense of calm, and the large forms create a minimal visual effect.
We also enlarged the studio and added a shower. A bath was placed in the master bedroom and doorways were widened and raised with pivot doors in glass. The ceiling was lowered and fitted with recessed spotlights, light rails, and curtain rails. The home automation system is fully tailored to the client's wishes.
